Course Overview
The Assessment of Fundamental Knowledge (AFK) is the first step internationally trained students need to take in the NDEB equivalency process. At Prep Doctors, we have perfected a proven formula for helping you pass the NDEB AFK exam, honed over years of expertise and success.
The AFK exam is an extensive multiple-choice exam that tests your knowledge of biomedical and applied clinical science. With 200 single answer multiple-choice questions delivered in two parts, a passing grade is required before candidates can continue to the next NDEB exam in the equivalency process.
International dentists must refresh their dental knowledge from a Canadian standards perspective to write this exam. To meet this need, our AFK exam preparation course breaks down complex exam topics into manageable segments. We cover the essential concepts through detailed AFK lectures, mock exams, and access to a large database of practice exam questions. In doing so, we ensure you are fully equipped to excel in the AFK exam and beyond.

*Our passing guarantee is activated when a Full Course trainee can prove that they have failed the AFK exam while having passed all four mock exams (passing grade is 75%), attended 90% or more of lectures, as well as, passed 70% of all quizzes. Qualifying trainees will be allowed to take another AFK course within the following cycle or the cycle that follows that.
